Donington F3 Meeting 1986

The full circuit at Donington was used for the May ’86 visit of the British Formula 3 Championship, with a packed supporting card of races. It was the first of 4 wins in the 1986 championship for Martin Donnelly, who took a dominant victory from Mauricio Sandro Sala. The production saloon race featured a great scrap between Gerry Marshall’s Monza and a pair of Mercedes Benz Cossies. Other races were FF1600, Clubmans and MG’s.
