Richard Seaman Memorial Trophy 1986

Richard Seaman Memorial Trophy 1986

One of the best supported historic racing events of the season was always the Richard Seaman meeting at Oulton Park. For those who enjoy the smell of Castrol-R, it is petrolhead heaven. There were a mouthwatering collection of cars that carry, and developed the DNA of today’s motor racing marvels, and are worthy of recognition for their contribution to the sport. That their owners allow them to be driven, often with great gusto, at meetings like this, rather than keeping them locked away in dusty museums, is a magnificent gesture to their heritage.
