This is a gallery of images from a hectic club meeting at Donington Park in 1986 with races for Fiestas and the Formula E championship for outboard suspension based FF1600′s. The Formula E race was particularly fraught, with some highly spectacular incidents, particularly the one which involved (inevitably…) Roger Eccleston who launched off the wheels of Doug Lague’s Van Diemen, and was fortunate not to roll. The incident is captured in detail in the gallery!
